Kale belongs to the leafy green vegetables group and well, there are many benefits of kale from eating them. Kale provides great sources of various vitamins especially such as vitamin A’s, C’s, and K’s, also rich in calcium, iron and many more. Of course, kale is often used in salads like many other leafy green vegetables and they provide good sources of antioxidants as well. I don’t know about you but since there are so many different kinds of leafy greens that kind of look alike and even taste alike, which ones are better? I say they are all good, nutritious and delicious! Because I have once heard from someone that it is important to consume lots of various types of vegetables, including leafy greens. Kale helps prevent and reducing risk of certain diseases and illnesses such as cancer and also helping overall general wellness. As mentioned, although they may seem and taste even alike, I think each leafy green veggie are different in at least very little bit. I have heard people say that kale has that unique taste and flavor into it which makes it enjoyable to eat and to cook with. With some kale, drizzle some low fat or fat free dressings, sauces and one nutritious salad is made.
