As many of are already well aware of, we do move our eyes a lot—blinking them countless times each day by opening and closing our eyes. I don’t know about you but sometimes, I just want to close my eyes and rest just like that although I may not be necessarily taking a nap or sleeping because my eyes tend to hurt a little bit. You don’t have to lay down on your bed or sofa to rest your eyes although some people might prefer it. I think you can just simply close your eyes from couple of minutes while sitting down.
Especially after you might have been focusing your eyesight to one place or spot such as when using computer, watching television, studying, reading a book or magazine, etc. And of course, there are also many great eye exercises which are available. I personally think that these eye exercises are very helpful because they help relax tensions around your eyes and the eyes itself. I like to think of it this way—our eyes need to “rest” as well just like our bodies do after spending a long or short day. And of course, you can rest your eyes through sleeping but I just thought these are also helpful during and throughout the day.
